National team striker Mirlind Daku has received much praise for his performances in Russia with Rubin Kazan.

Renowned Russian coach Alexander Grigorian has described Daku as the best striker in the championship.

"I would call Daku the best striker in the championship. He is a striker of the highest level," said Grigorian.

The 27-year-old Daku played 26 matches last season and scored 15 goals.

The player's future remains to be seen, with the latter being pursued by several teams.
