Myrto Uzuni is already a problem at Granada. The Albanian national team striker is not training with the Spanish team, while he waits for the club to accept Austin's offer for a transfer to America.
Granada's general manager, Alfredo García Amado, has broken his silence. He revealed that Austin has received an offer of $9 million, but that 12 million euros must be paid to release him. This figure also coincides with the contract termination clause.
" Uzun wants to leave, that's the reality, he received a very interesting offer from Austin of MLS and told us a few weeks ago that he wants to leave. He says he doesn't want to train with the group and that he wants to leave, it's a difficult situation.
I respect that a professional and a player will improve, and if a positive solution can be found for both parties, then perfect, but always fulfilling your obligation, which I do not share with Myrto at all and is surprising me.
There are regulations and a signed contract. Myrto has had two contract improvements and there are contractual terms with a termination clause and duration until June 2027, we need to deal with this.
We are in the winter transfer window, it is a very complicated situation. Uzun is a very important player, Granada is defending the club and the emblem. We have told him that to go he must pay the termination clause, there is no other negotiation.
"They have made several offers, but the amounts do not reach what we want, which is the clause. The last strong offer is 9 million dollars and I have sent them 12 million euros, we are here to protect the interests of the club ," said Alfredo García Amado.
