Max Verstappen won his 17th race of the season, as the Red Bull Dutchman does not seem to have stopped the pace, although he has long been declared the World Champion in Formula 1. Today he also triumphed at the Interlagos circuit in Brazil, continuing his dominance absolutely as he had done the day before in the sprint race.
Verstappen only had a few worries in the first 10 laps, until he managed to build a gap to Landon Norris, who ended the race in second place today, showing the progress the McLaren team has made.
Third place went to Fernando Alonso, who crossed the finish line a few hundredths ahead of Perez in the other Red Bull car.
Stroll, Sainz, Gasli, Hamilton, Tsunoda and Okon were the ones to finish in the points zone in a race that was stopped short of a good start by back-to-back accidents. First it was Leclerc, who crashed on the formation lap, then it was Magnuson and Albon who collided at the first corner, delaying the normal course of the race until the track was cleared.
