Manchester City is the team with the highest value among football clubs. This was reported based on the annual report "The European Elite 2023 by Football Benchmark", which ranks the 32 most valuable European football clubs.
The English command this special ranking that highlights the value of the club, which in the case of the team led by Guardiola is equal to 4.073 billion euros. "Citizens" have passed Real Madrid, which until recently led the classification.
The report is based on economic data for the season ending 30 June 2022. It highlights the dominance of English football with 11 English clubs in the top 32, accounting for 45% of total value.
Just outside the top 10 is Atletico Madrid followed by Juventus, the first Italian team with 1794 points (+12%). Inter is in 14th place with 1258 points (+26%). Milan 15th with 1060 (+83%), Naples with 706 takes the 17th place (+46%). Atalanta, Roma and Lazio follow in 23rd, 25th and 31st place respectively.
