Novak Djokovic is the new champion of Roland Garros or as it is known, the French Open. The Serbian tennis player beat the Norwegian Kasper Rud 3-0 (7-6, 6-3, 7-5) in sets, who despite trying, was powerless against the veteran.
It was Djokovic's third Roland Garros triumph and also his 23rd Grand Slam, surpassing
Rafael Nadal and becoming the tennis player with the most such in history. As for Rud, this is the second time in a row that he has lost the French Open in the final, where he was beaten by Rafa Nadal last year.
