Barcelona could have a new injury concern after Lamine Yamal felt discomfort in Spain's World Cup qualifier against Bulgaria on Thursday.
The 18-year-old star started the match and assisted Mikel Merino's goal just before half-time, but was substituted in the 78th minute by coach Luis de la Fuente.
Cameras showed Yamali massaging his lower back and he was heard using the word espalda (“back”) while speaking to a teammate.
According to Javi Herraez, Yamal had had some concerns since the league match at Rayo Vallecano.
The report adds that the problem does not appear to be serious: the Barcelona star will rest on Friday, but is expected to be available for Spain's next qualifying match against Turkey.
For now, Barcelona will closely monitor their star's condition as the international break continues.
