Simon Simoni is getting ready to start a new phase of his career. The red and black goalkeeper, who has been a regular member of the youth teams, as well as the A-team, is now looking forward to making the official move to a well-known Bundesliga 2 club.
Renowned transfer journalist, Luka Bandini, has revealed that Simoni is very close to a deal to transfer to Kaizerslautern. The goalkeeper, who was the most sensational transfer in the history of the First Division when he was sold in 2013 from Dinamo to Eintracht Frankfurt in Germany, is looking to get back into the game, as he failed to do last year when he was loaned to Ingolstadt in the Bundesliga 3.
According to Bandini, Simoni will be loaned for 18 months with the option to buy for 1 million euros from Kaizerslautern at the end of the deal. Meanwhile, Eintracht Frankfurt have not completely given up on the Albanian, having set a buy-back clause of 3 million euros.
