The "soap opera" over Viktor Giokere's future appears to have come to an end. Arsenal have closed the deal for the transfer of the Swedish striker, after many negotiations with Sporting Lisbon.

The "Gunners" will pay the Portuguese coffers 63.5 million euros, plus another 10 million euros in the form of bonuses.

Arsenal secures goals for the new season, referring to the player's impressive figures in the last two seasons.

In 102 matches played with the Portuguese team Sporting, Giokeres scored a whopping 97 goals, confirming himself as an unstoppable machine.

Arsenal was Gjokeres' only choice, despite interest from Manchester United and his former coach, Ruben Amorim.
