Former prosecutor Ervin Karanxha, invited to "Ora e Fundit", said that the criminal prosecution of state officials for the events of January 21, 2011, was not carried out properly.
In this event, four innocent citizens were killed, who were protesting in front of the prime minister's office.
He stressed that the crime was not properly investigated by the General Prosecutor's Office of Albania.
"This matter should have been investigated by the General Prosecutor's Office. It should have been investigated. The responsibility falls on Chief Prosecutor Ina Rama, who should have taken over the investigations. Failure to prosecute is abuse of office. Officials were not investigated for January 21. Lulzim Basha was Minister of Interior, but he was not questioned about the incident," said Karanxha.
He further added that there may be other people who may have copies of the prime minister's server.
"The Prime Minister's Office server has been reformatted and the reformatting was such that the data is no longer recoverable. The order given must be investigated. There may be another person who has a copy of the server," the prosecutor said.
