
The head of SPAK, Altin Dumani, during the speech at the work meeting of the Center for the Study of Democracy and Governance, emphasized that the measure that will be required of former Prime Minister Sali Berisha for the affair of the 'Partizani' complex, is in the hands of the prosecutors of the case. Dumani emphasized earlier that political rhetoric or media pressure do not affect his work at all.

The Mandates Council is expected to submit the report today asking the Parliament to vote tomorrow in favor of granting SPAK authorization for the arrest/release of former Prime Minister Berisha.
With 6 votes in favor, none against and no abstentions, the Council of Mandates accepted on December 18 the request of SPAK for the granting of authorization for the arrest of former Prime Minister Sali Berisha.
Finally, the Assembly will decide tomorrow in the plenary session, while SPAK has left open the possibility of locking former Prime Minister Sali Berisha in a cell. The votes of the majority were joined by Enkelejd Alibeaj, while the socialists said that no one can challenge justice as the former Prime Minister has done.
