The security expert, Ilir Kulla, while speaking about the latest developments in SPAK, said that they are doing to Sali Berisha what North Macedonia did to Nikola Gruevski.
He added that Berisha has decided to face political justice.
"These people cut the ticket for themselves when they voted for the justice reform with 140 votes. Now it has just begun. What are we doing in Berisha? What North Macedonia did to Gruevski, forcing him to appear, and then he was sentenced for abuse of office.
Berisha is getting tired of nerves. It has been a week since the conference. He is exhausting himself and others. He forgets that the first night they communicated the move, only 50 were in the party yard. That's why he loves the party, speaks politically, Berisha has decided to face justice politically, but he forgets that he needs some good lawyers more, because he will face justice, he has nowhere to go", said Kulla .
Regarding what is said about the chairman of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, that he has left Albania because there are some cases against him that are being investigated in SPAK, Kulla said that Meta is within the territory of our country.
As for the issues for which he is being investigated at SPAK, Kulla said that when Meta was questioned, he made public what he was asked about, CEZ-DIA and lobbying in the USA.
"If you remember the day he went to the Special Court to be questioned, when Meta came out he clarified the issues he was questioned about. Regarding the first accusation, it is an investigated case and there are convicted persons, regarding the second, the party and some of its officials are involved.
There they talk about 1 million dollars paid from an account in Cyprus, to the USA, for a lobbying account, which in itself is not a criminal offense, but the moment you don't declare it, you become involved in a criminal offense.
This is a much more complicated thing than other things, because we are dealing with assumptions. Assumptions to prove with papers where this money came from, why it was paid, how it was collected and others.
In the US, money for lobbying is declared. Ilir Meta is here in Tirana, it is not true that he has left. He has chosen to remain silent in this matter," said the expert.
