Lawyer Romeo Kara states that Democratic leader Sali Berisha continues to be sanctioned as 'non grata' by the United States of America, while emphasizing that even the March report of this year from Washington described this measure as a success story.
From the Report TV studio, Kara described the news about the removal of the 'non grata' against Berisha as legally and legally unfounded.
"The non grata has not been removed. The 6 million dollars paid are not legal. The DP did not vet candidates. On March 24, the US State Department issued a report citing the non grata declaration and Berisha's crackdown on corruption as a success. The US State Department report refuted Berisha's claims," Kara said.
Regarding the lobbying contract, he raised the question of "where did the $6 million come from?".
"Where is the guarantee for these people who set up a patriots' foundation in 7 days and generate 250 thousand dollars every month, where is this money? Is there money in bags there? You have the DP as a party in this contract with Flamur Noka. It bears responsibility as a beneficiary, criminal responsibility, it bears responsibility here and there. There are 2-3 contracts, but there could be 4 contracts. Berisha admits that he has another contract with Chris LaCivita, with so much money paid and that scandalous campaign that was carried out by the DP", continued the lawyer.
