The lawyer Kreshnik Spahiu said that in relation to the CEZ-DIA issue, about which the leader of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, was asked today in SPAK, two letters have arrived from the Czech Republic.
In an interview for the show "Now" on "Euronews Albania", he said that the Czech prosecutor's office may have sent new evidence for this case, so the special prosecutor's office has been set in motion again for this case.
" Two letters from the Czech Republic have come to my attention. The order letter must be sent to the investigative body of the respective country. The Czech prosecutor's office may have sent new evidence related to this case, which forced the special prosecutor's office to move this case again ," said Spahiu.
Asked if a charge could be brought from these letters, the judge said that it depends on the evidence that the court may have sent.
" It depends on the evidence they may have sent from the Czech Republic. The court evaluates the evidence. I have also said this about the Berisha case, when it comes to whether or not there is evidence. Today, there is no evidence, but the prosecution needs to have some reasonable suspicions to initiate investigations" , said Kreshnik Spahiu.
We remind you that the CEZ-DIA file for which Ilir Meta was called to SPAK is one of the oldest in the Special Prosecutor's Office and is led by the head of SPAK Altin Dumani.
