Journalist Klodiana Lala has revealed details regarding the appearance of former President Ilir Meta at SPAK today.
Through a direct communication on the show "Open" on "News 24", Lala said that Meta has appeared in SPAK today as a person who has knowledge about the CEZ-DIA affair.
She revealed that SPAK is investigating the role of the leader of the Freedom Party in this matter, while she further stated that the prosecution has requested information through a letter from the US on this matter, but also other investigations related to the former Head of State .
" SPAK has summoned Meta for the second time regarding the CEZ-DIA affair, a case started in 2019. Meta was questioned today as a declarant. This means that SPAK has not yet registered Meta as a person who is accused or under investigation, but is investigating his role.
They have also addressed the USA for information with a letter of order to request data related to this issue and other investigations that are being carried out about Ilir Meta. If Meta assumes the status of the defendant, the subpoena also changes when he is interrogated. In this particular case, Meta is a person who has knowledge ", said Lala.
