The lawyers of Sali Berisha and Jamarbër Malltez are requesting the invalidity of the SPAK acts regarding the 'Partizani' file at the GJKKO.
In the session held at the GJKKO, both lawyers maintained the same strategy, requesting the invalidity of the investigations by SPAK, aiming to close the file.
Initially, it was Berisha's lawyer, Genc Gjokutaj, who filed the request for the invalidity of the acts.
Following him was Malltez's lawyer, who filed the same request, while considering SPAK's accusations against Berisha's son-in-law to be without any legal basis.
"We demand the absolute invalidity of the acts. The accusation against Malltezi has no legal basis. Malltezi is accused of 2 criminal offenses: passive corruption, which has nothing to do with it, since he has never held a public office. The second charge of laundering the proceeds of a criminal offense, which also has nothing to do with it. We also demand the invalidity of the judicial decisions taken during the preliminary investigations, taken by a person who does not even have the title of magistrate," declared Malltezi's lawyer.
