The situation on the road segment at "Arrat e Gurrës" is deteriorating significantly, where over the last few hours the landslide and the sinking of the bridge have continued with greater intensity, significantly increasing the risk for any type of traffic.
At around 10:00 PM, after blocking vehicle traffic due to the worsening situation, the authorities took an even harsher decision, completely banning pedestrian traffic, as well as emergency vehicles - fire engines, police and ambulances - in the damaged segment.
According to official announcements, emergency services vehicles will be diverted via an alternative route passing through the villages of Spathar and Dardhë. Authorities are calling on citizens to avoid any attempt to cross the danger zone, stressing that the situation poses a high risk to life.
The area continues to be under constant monitoring, while the risk of complete collapse of the structure has forced the total isolation of the segment. One of the most important axes of the country has thus become a critical infrastructural point, with direct consequences on circulation and connectivity between areas.
