The situation on the Maliq-Gramsh axis continues to be chaotic. Landslides have occurred on this alternative axis, forcing authorities to block traffic for safety reasons.
As a result, the queue of vehicles has reached several kilometers, while many citizens have been stranded for more than three hours.
The Prefecture of Korça Region has officially announced the complete traffic blockage on the Librazhd-Pogradec road axis, until further notice. The decision comes following the information made public by the ARRSH, the Center-East Directorate and the Elbasan and Korça Local Police Directorates, due to the situation created in this segment. According to the announcement, the Traffic Police services have been deployed at key points: Qafë Thanës Intersection, Qafë Plloçës Intersection and Maliqi Intersection, where they are orienting drivers to divert traffic.
Authorities say that only ambulances, fire engines and police vehicles will be allowed to pass. Police structures are on the ground to monitor the situation and guide citizens.

Following the announcement made by the ARRSH, the Center-East Directorate, the Elbasan/Korça Local Police Directorate regarding the complete blockage of traffic on the Librazhd-Pogradec road axis, we inform citizens that this segment will be impassable until further notice.
Traffic Police services are located at the following points: Qafë Thanë Intersection, Qafë Plloçë Intersection and Maliqi Intersection, where they are guiding drivers.
Traffic for vehicles up to 3.5 tons will be diverted to the Maliq - Lozhan - Moglicë - Gramsh axis, towards Tirana and vice versa.
Heavy vehicles and buses are not allowed to circulate.
Only ambulances, fire services and police vehicles will be allowed to pass.
Police structures are on the ground to monitor the situation and guide citizens.
