The family of 57-year-old Nikoll Radaci have left their apartment after the fatal accident with 2 minor victims that occurred yesterday afternoon in Durrës.
According to sources on the ground, the removal was carried out the night before with the intervention of the police, due to the risk of retaliation. The event has increased tension in the area after the loss of the lives of two minors.
The accident occurred at noon on May 3 in the area of the former swamp. Radac, driving a Mercedes-Benz ML, hit three children on the sidewalk. The collision was fatal for two of them, aged 10 and 12. An 8-year-old child was seriously injured and was transported to the hospital.
Verifications showed that the driver of the vehicle was intoxicated at the time of the accident. He left the scene, but was later arrested by police. Records show that he had previously been fined for traffic violations, including speeding and wrongful overtaking, and his driving license had been suspended for one month.
He has been charged with violating traffic rules resulting in the death of two people, driving while intoxicated, and leaving the scene of an accident.
