SPAK's action for the Tirana incinerator, the director of Erion Veliajt and 3 others in handcuffs; Erjon Murataj is declared wanted

After 15 arrest warrants issued by SPAK the day before regarding the Tirana incinerator affair, Taulant Tushe, Namik Simixhiu, Bledar Karoli, Jetmir Llapaj have been arrested.

Karoli and Llapaj surrendered. Meanwhile, Erjon Murataj, who is known to be abroad, has been declared wanted.

Meanwhile, the accusations against the former Minister of the Environment Lefter Koka and the former General Secretary of the Ministry of the Environment Alqi Blako, convicted for corruption in the Fier incinerator, are again heavy.

Yesterday, GJKKO issued arrest warrants for Lefter Koka, Alqi Bllakon, Mirel Mërtir, Klodian Zoto, Erjon Murataj, Bledar Karolin, Namik Simixhiu, Jetmir Llapaj.

While the measure of "House Arrest" has been imposed for Alba Thoma, Valbona Ballgjini, Sidita Kopliku, Pëllumb Abeshi, Etleva Kondi, Sidita Tola.

We recall that on August 1, the Special Court at the request of SPAK signed the sequestration of the Tirana incinerator. Investigations have started within the framework of the criminal proceedings for the criminal offenses of "Fraud with serious consequences" in cooperation, "Abuse of duty", "Passive corruption of high state officials or local elected officials and "cleaning the proceeds of the criminal offense or criminal activity".
