Measles is a disease that has spread in several cases in recent weeks in our country, mainly as a result of neglect of vaccination.
Doctor Ilir Alimehmeti, who a few days ago also spoke about the risk of this disease turning into an epidemic, said that measles is called a re-emerging disease and is appearing because vaccination is falling.
Being a highly contagious disease, Alimehmeti said that vaccination should be given importance.
"Initially it starts with the temperature, the first spots, they give the names to the disease. Most cases pass without complications. Measles is harder, more tiring than the flu to get through. It is the most contagious virus we know. Measles is the most transmissible virus we know, there is no more transmissible than that. The only way to keep it under control is vaccination. It is called re-emergent disease, it is reappearing, not only in us. It appears because vaccination is falling. If a person is at home and is infected, the other family members will also be isolated," said Alimehmeti in an interview for Report TV.
