The court has sentenced Altin Çoku (a popular TikTok character) to 6 years in prison for causing the suicide of Sibela Abedini, who jumped from the fourth floor.
The tragic event came after suspicions that Çoku was the person who published the intimate photo with the deceased in 2024.
The deceased's aunt, Elona Selmani, through a direct link to 'Albania Live' on Top Channel, has shed light on the event, giving strong statements about the 27-year-old's death.
She said that Sibela was pushed from the terrace, and not thrown as stated, while adding that she is ready to testify in court. "During the debate, they pushed Sibela, not intentionally, I believe, but it was an incident. I know some other things. Sibela was on the phone, how is it possible that the phone was found up there? (on the terrace)," says her aunt.
She further stated that Altin Çoku had a relationship with Sibela's mother, and not with the 27-year-old herself. " Sibela herself told me on the phone that her mother is getting to know Altin Çoku ," Elona Selmani further said.
