The United States Embassy in Tirana has issued an important notice to all US visa applicants, urging them to carefully verify that the barcode on the application form matches that of the interview appointment.

In the official announcement released today, the Embassy emphasizes: “REMEMBER! The barcode on your interview appointment confirmation MUST match the barcode on the confirmation page of the DS-160 form, to ensure a secure visa process that protects America.”

According to the Embassy, ​​if the barcode on the DS-160 form does not match the barcode on the booked appointment, and this is not corrected by two days before the interview date, the appointment will be automatically canceled. In this case, applicants must schedule a new appointment to continue with the visa application process.
