Journalist Anila Hoxha, invited to "E Diell", spoke about her journey towards what she represents today, a journalist who follows hot justice issues.
Hoxha said that she believes that some things in life are predetermined, "that you will walk on this track and make this contribution", and in the past she has had some stories that now that she is going after, she understands that she was predestined for her to be where she is today.
Excerpts from the conversation:
Journalist: We have a photo of you in your 20s, we'd love to see it.
Anila Hoxha: Ahh, this is a surprise for my friends. These two girls here are Ivana who lives in England and Suela in America. They left. This is university time
Journalist: Do you have good memories from your university days?
Hoxha: I have because my brother comes after me in high school and it was very difficult for my parents to keep two children in school. In the second year I received an award for literature in poetry, the youth of Southeast Europe.
Then in the second year of high school, Kozeta Hyseni, the daughter of a Vlora prosecutor, is killed. This is an event that has not been clarified yet.
I say that some things are prescribed, that you will walk on this track and make this contribution. Because in the meantime I had passed a story.
Journalist: What story is this?
Hoxha: My cousin, with whom I grew up with my maternal grandparents, was kidnapped in 1997 by a person, and after she was found by the Police, he insisted that she marry him, even insisted a lot, but she refused. In court, she pointed to the person in the middle of the courtroom. This was the first time that a very lively, courageous woman told and stood by her story to the end despite the influence of people telling her to get married. There was a strange insistence on the part of the people, but she managed to stick to the end of her story.
