Arben Ahmetaj demands the return of seized properties

Former Deputy Prime Minister Arben Ahmetaj, represented by his lawyer, requested in today's session the return of his properties seized by SPAK. It is noted that the request was rejected by the Special Court of Appeal.

The appeal upheld the decision of the first instance for the sequestration of the property of former Deputy Prime Minister Arben Ahmetaj.

Through his lawyer, Ahmetaj requested in the Appeal the return of the apartment in the Shallvareve area that was seized from him by SPAK, within the framework of the investigations he is conducting for 3 criminal offenses.

A few weeks ago, by court decision and request of SPAK, 6 properties, 4 apartments and 2 bank accounts were seized from Ahmetaj.

There is an international arrest warrant against him with a measure issued in absentia "Arrest in prison" in connection with SPAK's investigations into the incinerators.
