The Prisons Directorate has officially notified the Special Court of Altin Ndoc's escape. The Directorate's letter was read during the trial of the "Golden Bullet" case.
The Prisons Directorate has informed that Altin Ndoci has escaped and is currently being sought by the State Police.
"Altin Ndoc cannot be escorted, as he is not in the Durrës Penitentiary Institution premises, as a result of his escape from the Durrës Regional Hospital. He has been declared wanted by the police," the court quoted the General Directorate of Prisons as saying in the letter.
During the parties' appeal, the anti-corruption court found that in the session of the "Golden Bullet" file, Enver Diva, Beshan Xhixha, the penitents Skerdi Tase and Erjon Alibej, the defendant Henrik Hoxhaj, Xhulian Hoxha is represented by a lawyer, as well as Petrit Qoli and Agron Qoli present, Asllan Plaku present.
Ndoc's lawyer has addressed the court with the request that the latter contact the State Police to notify the defendant, emphasizing that he may also be in his apartment.
"We ask the court to send a request to the police to make the notification according to the procedure, because Altin Ndoci may also be in his apartment, we don't know about this," said lawyer Shkëmbi.
In response to this, SPAK prosecutor Behar Dibra stated that: If Ndoci was aware of this hearing before his escape, it does not constitute a reason for not holding the hearing, considering that he has only appeared in this process once.
Meanwhile, SPAK prosecutor Doloreza Musabelliu has requested information from the State Police regarding the results of the search so far for Altin Ndocin.
The judge has withdrawn to decide whether or not to continue the hearing.
