The Secretary for Legal and Electoral Affairs of DP, Ivi Kaso, says that SPAK made a show with the arrest in Rinas of Jamarbër Malltezi, the son-in-law of former Prime Minister Sali Berisha.
In the show "Opinion", Kaso said that Malltezi could have been summoned by SPAK and would go to face justice.
Among other things, Kaso said that Berisha has never shied away from facing justice, since he was the initiator of the removal of immunities for MPs.
"The main element in the SPAK material that led the court to why they arrested Jamarbër Malltez in the act is that there was a risk of escape. Your phone turned off, this is nonsense. Meanwhile, when asked if Malltezi benefited from being Sali Berisha's son-in-law, Kaso said: Yes, as a million Albanians who owned property could have benefited. I heard that one of your colleagues ironically said that Sali Berisha should be found guilty because his family moved without visas because Sali Berisha liberalized visas for all Albanians.
