Analyst Kreshnik Spahiu, spoke about the situation created between Athens and Albania and vetoed that Greece has decided against our country because of the "Beleri" issue.
In an interview for Euronews Albania, Spahiu emphasized that the West could face another conflict in our country, similar to the one in North Kosovo.
According to him, if Himara is taken over by Greece, the latter may request an association together with Dropulli and Finiq.
"If the problem was just an individual, I say that the problem must be solved, if the problem is very principled that a Greece controlled by the Albanian government constitutes more stability than a Himara controlled by Athens and Greece which can be an instability for the region then here remains to be seen.
There is a suspicion in the West that all this nationalist concern of Athens for Himara, and all these nationalist claims to control Himara, could be a danger to autonomy claims. The West has to face another similar conflict like the one in the North of Kosovo, where if Himara comes under the control of Greece, it can ask for an association together with Dropulli and Finiq", he said. .
