Lawyer Kujtim Cakrani was a witness to the murder that occurred in a bar in the Paris Municipality area of Tirana.
During his interview for the show "In Real Time" on RTSH, the lawyer said that everything happened suddenly, while he was there for lunch.
" I was there because I usually have lunch at that restaurant, which is located below my studio. I knew both of them, I was ordering lunch when the incident happened. The restaurant was full of people and suddenly we heard noises from the kitchen ," Cakrani said.
According to him, the conflict began between two employees of the bar, where one of them, Filip Shehu, who had been working there for a year, is suspected of hitting his colleague after a momentary argument.
" They both know better how the fight started. After the blow, the cook came out of the kitchen and fell to the outside door. The waiters were screaming, while the injured man lost his life before the ambulance arrived. There was a fight in the kitchen.
The one who hit, named Filip Shehu, said he had been working there for a year. The deceased had something more. This was a momentary, banal quarrel. They told me that they had not previously been noticed for conflicts , "said Cakrani.
According to the same source, the perpetrator did not attempt to leave the scene.
" He locked himself in a staff room and waited for the police. When they arrested him, he was completely calm ," Cakrani added.
