
The National Food Authority, in the context of transparency and public information, has announced that it continues with inspections of entities that trade in Products of Plant Origin (PMB).
The NFA announces that during inspections in the Lezha and Fier regions, 2 subjects were punished with the administrative measure of a fine, while two others were given a "warning".
The first subject was fined for operating without a license, while the other subject was fined for carrying out the activity of repackaging PPPs in violation of legal requirements.
In this case, the measure of blocking the activity has also been taken, which will be followed by a proposal for revocation of the entity's license.
The announcement from the NFA states that 4 other entities that were inspected were found to be operating in accordance with legal requirements.
The NFA emphasizes that it will continue controls throughout the country, guaranteeing consumers and food businesses that the institution is committed to enforcing the law and ensuring high food safety standards.
