Interior Minister Taulant Balla has requested a re-investigation of 50 serious criminal events that occurred in the Durrës region in the last 30 years.
Balla held a meeting with Durrës police officials for the annual analysis of this department.
At the same time, he also requested the intensification of work for the arrest of wanted persons.
"Part of the analysis today at the Durrës Police Directorate was the reopening of old files, which are over 50 serious criminal events, but also the intensification of the daily work of the police for the arrest of 560 wanted persons", he said . forehead
Minister Balla said that during the past year, the police had satisfactory results in the prevention of criminal events.
However, he said that for the events that are still being investigated, it is expected that those responsible will be brought to justice.
Regarding the vetting process in the ranks of the police, Balla said that everyone in their work should be guided only by the law.
