Residents affected by the TID project have protested again today.
They have come out in front of the city's central square, demanding the suspension of this project, which they consider corrupt.
According to them, the real purpose is the towers in the area, while accusations have also been raised against the mayor, Emiriana Sako, regarding the management and transparency of the project.
Residents have announced that they will further demand the establishment of an Investigative Commission in the Municipal Council, the creation of a Local Advisory Forum, as well as the public signing of a document addressed to the Albanian-American Development Foundation (AADF).
Meanwhile, previously, the affected families have addressed the justice institutions, requesting the suspension of the implementation of the TID project, pending a full review of it and the impact it has on the historic area and current residents.
