Residents of the village of Gramzë protested this morning, raising concerns about the dilapidated condition of the road that connects their area to the main roads.
According to the protesters, a segment of about 500 meters has been severely damaged and has become almost impassable, creating serious difficulties for vehicle traffic. In protest, the residents blocked the road for about an hour and warned that they will continue with other protests if concrete measures are not taken.
Residents are demanding immediate intervention for the complete asphalting of the problematic segment, emphasizing that temporary solutions do not address the situation.
"This is the second time we have come out for a right, the road has become impassable. They have destroyed our road. We demand that the road be asphalted, we have not come out for any political party. The entire north of the country and Kosovo passes through here. Here in an emergency it is a catastrophe, a person dies for 500 meters of road. Yesterday they came and dumped a truckload of gravel on the potholes, enough to throw ash in our eyes. This is not a solution. We will continue the protest until our demand is met. We are demanding our right," said a resident of the area.
