The lawyer Kreshnik Spahiu said that the Minister of Health should have an investigation for 'abuse of duty' after the scandal at the Oncology department at QSUT.
He stated that KLSH had notified the government and no measures had been taken in the Oncology Department. Spahiu stated that it was the duty of the ministry to take measures. According to him, Albana Koçiu has committed a criminal offense.
" I am surprised that the Special Prosecutor's Office has not started the investigation for the Minister of Health. We don't speak names. SPAK should start the investigation for the Minister of Health who, during the reporting of the HCSA, was aware of the violation committed by the apparatus for cancer patients. Both the old and the new minister should be accused of failing to fulfill their duties that they knew about and that there have been consequences. Article 248 of the Criminal Code provides for the cases when the high official by inaction allows the commission of criminal offenses where the entities under the nomenclature have benefited. The report of KLSH has been brought to the attention of the government and the relevant department has not taken any action. It was the duty of the ministry to take measures. It is criminal responsibility. SPAK should investigate the ministers of health who have not performed their duty. A specialized institution for the control of legality has found serious violations. It is surprising how the Rama government keeps the minister in her post if she had knowledge. I feel great regret when I look at the classification of the criminal offense which is corruption, it is not bribery ", he said in "Report TV".
