Former Prime Minister Berisha and his son-in-law Jamarbër Malltezi will not appear tomorrow at SPAK to sign the closure of the investigations, before the case is sent to GJKKO for process.
They have avoided SPAK while it is known that they will send the lawyers to appear at the Special Prosecutor's Office.
So far, 5 people have been charged for the "Partizani" file, related to the privatization of the sports complex and then the construction of 19 towers.
The 500-page file was compiled by SPAK prosecutors Arben Kraja and Enkeleda Millonai.
After the file goes to GJKKO, the judge for the preliminary hearing will be selected by electronic lottery. He will decide whether the file will go to trial or return it to SPAK for further investigations. If the judge accepts the acts of the SPAK file, then the trial is declared open and the review on the merits begins with subsequent sessions and a panel of judges.
Berisha and Malltezi continue to be under the "house arrest" security measure.
