Journalist Ardit Rada, in an interview with "Edicioni i Fundit", spoke about political developments in the country, focusing on the May 11 parliamentary elections.
He also commented on the statements of former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, who in his speeches has stated that he will "open" the prisons. Regarding these statements, journalist Rada said that they are not surprising because according to him, the leader of the Democratic Party of Albania is historically known for such actions.
He further added that he no longer has the trust of citizens, adding that polls show the DP below Lulzim Basha.
"Berisha has historically opened prisons and we know the consequences he had with the gangs of Durrës and Shijak. But I want to dwell a little on Skerdi's statements, that whoever leaves the ranks of the DP serves the opponent. But the most serious faction that the DP has had was the Genc Pollo faction. In 2005, Berisha then made him Minister of Education and you have Genc Pollo's Benjamin on the closed list and the first in Berat. So he creates the luxury for individuals to go out and come in. If you regret that Basha was a minister of January 21, it is halal to have regrets, but if you regret that he was Berisha's tool, this is a bit suspicious...", said journalist Rada, among other things.
