"Berisha should be worried", Gjikondi for "January 21":

Lawyer Brizida Gjikondi says that the audio recording related to the murders in the January 21 protest will serve as a turning point in the investigation of this case.

In an interview for "ABC News", Gjikondi said that former Prime Minister Sali Berisha has reason to be worried and added that his rhetoric has become aggressive regarding the January 21 investigation.

" For a year, the family of the deceased Alex Nika had been talking about this strong evidence. They expected to hand it over only to SPAK. They did not trust the Prosecutor's Office of Tirana, from which the investigations had dragged on for years. This registration will make an important turn. If it wasn't for the Strasbourg Court, we wouldn't have been able to conduct the SPAK investigation on January 21.

Berisha has many reasons to be worried. This was also said by the decision of Strasbourg, no violation of buildings can justify the killing of persons. The murders were committed after the protest ended. The chain of command has been political. I believe that we will have developments. I am convinced that we will have developments. As long as SPAK has been investigating, I have the impression that now the situation will take direction" , she emphasized.
