Journalist Igli Çelmeta has warned of a storm in the leadership dome of the State Police.
Çelmeta said that referring to communications with sources in the Ministry of the Interior, there will be changes in the entire chain of command of the State Police, starting with the heads of the departments and then with the heads of the 12 districts.
The journalist said that there are many clans in the State Police and this is not a very favorable factor, both for the General Director of the State Police, Ilir Proda, and the Minister of the Interior.
He said that the new names who will take the leadership of the departments and districts in the State Police will undergo a competition, which is expected to open next week.
According to Çelmeta, everything will be based on the new law on the State Police, where again we will have a commission that will be set up, which will evaluate the candidates.
Çelmeta said that at the end of November we expect to have a new face in the State Police.
"New names, those who have not been given the opportunity before, will compete for these leadership positions and win", said Çelmeta.
He said that with these changes, it is expected that many of those who are considered old jackets in the State Police will leave.
