Analyst Namir Lapardhaja said that Sali Berisha mocked the Democrats by holding the primaries, while adding that Berisha is now putting them in the game.
Lapardhaja spoke about the latest political situation, the lists of candidates for MPs, new parties and the May 11 elections.
"Berisha made fun of the Democrats with the primaries that were held. He came to the DP and said he would establish a base, bring votes, and reorganize the party, but now it turns out the opposite. He lied to the Democrats at the beginning, he made fun of them, and now he is making fun of these others, one day he says one thing and the next day something different. He has the luxury of age to make fun of these people, beat them up, make fun of them. The problem is with these people who follow him from behind, not with Berisha," he said.
The analyst also said that he sees Berisha even worse than Lulzim Basha in the election results, whom he removed after taking away the party's seal through the court.
"He waged an artificial battle to remove Basha, to come himself, he lost those bastions that Basha had won in the 2023 elections, it turned out worse, now he wants to win the elections while only serving Rama's victories. Berisha is in the DP for personal interests. He gathered his loyalists on the lists. He has taken unknown names on the lists, they don't even recognize their families if you look at the names. Berisha loves the party to protect himself from SPAK. While Rama has chosen anonymous names on the lists, perhaps also because of the problems of his people with justice. Rama's fate is Berisha and this DP, it is Berisha who has more of his personal worries than the elections and the electorate ," Lapardhaja said.
