GJKKO has sentenced to 1 year and 6 months in prison Klodian Kapedan, who was found guilty of election corruption.

According to SPAK, Kapedani has promised and offered money to citizens in some cases to participate in the voting, determining their voting method.

Kapedani supported the candidate of the "Together We Win" coalition, who won the mandate of the mayor of Kavaja on May 14, 2023. With a shortened trial, Kapedani benefits from a reduction of 1/3 of the sentence.
