"Salary does not make you rich", Lajla Përnaska tells how politicians get rich

Politician and entrepreneur Lajla Përnaska said that no salaryman has a chance to make a fortune, whether he is a minister or a member of parliament.

She said that you can definitely have a higher standard of living than a person who has a lower salary, but never put a staggering amount of wealth like what the politicians have put in Albania.

"Any kind of position you get through an involvement in institutional political life is a salaried position. You, MP, minister, prime minister and deputy prime minister, are salaried. With a salary there is no possibility of you making a fortune.

You absolutely do not become, you are a salaryman. you can achieve a slightly more comfortable standard of living, but there is no chance of making a fortune as these people have done all these years, who have made staggering fortunes", said Përnaska in Euronews Albania.
