Economy expert Violdi Danaj commented on Prime Minister Rama's statement during the SP Assembly. Rama said that "those who do not declare their salaries will go to prison just like thieves who steal electricity".
The expert emphasizes that the elimination of evasion is done when there is a real analysis of the labor market, which according to him has many problems, while labor control institutions are easily corruptible.
"Over 50% of the population is in economic difficulties and is heading towards impoverishment. We have bipolarization of society. We have a small stratum that has strong economic control. When states have internal problems of corruption or evasion, they seek to put pressure on the private sector. But in order to eliminate evasion, it is necessary to analyze whether this tax is affordable for the real economy. The tax is on a progressive scale. When you see a powerful business manages to evade tax obligations, they have the power to do so and they don't pay taxes. Control institutions are easily corruptible. Some will end up in prison", said the expert for "Report TV".
