Analyst Arben Meçe, invited to "Ora e Fundit" on ABC News, commented on the latest political developments, where the Socialist Party and the deputies of Sali Berisha's group passed in the Assembly the establishment of two investigative commissions, namely one for the sterilization concession and the other for the flow of data from the TIMS system.
He commented on the cold attitude of the chairman of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, to whom he added that he feels worried about what is hidden in the agreement of the two political formations, SP-Rithemelim.
"Ilir Meta is worried about tomorrow, because he is convinced that there is something more serious behind this agreement. It is a well-thought-out move by the SP, but there are question marks for tomorrow, both for Meta and for Berisha. Both Berisha and Meta, they are two individuals with serious processes in SPAK, SPAK is the one who is fundamentally cleaning up Albanian politics. I don't say it, we have been waiting for it for a long time, because there are serious issues such as CEZ DIA and for Berisha we have a special one for January 21", he said.
Asked if there is a real unity among the Democrats, the analyst said that there is no unity and basically there are two factions; for and against Berisha.
"There is no unification of groups, there is a game developed by Berisha long ago. The essential divisions that exist are the pro-Berisha line and the anti-Berisha line, the Euro-Atlantic line and the Euro-Atlantic line represented by Berisha, and this division has his interference at the base. "Democrats are convinced, despite the nostalgia they have for Berisha, they will not take power with him", he emphasized.
He also stopped at another point, that the SP has expressed its willingness and willingness to join the votes with the MPs from Berisha's wing for the passage of the law on Criminal Amnesty. According to Meçe, this is a clear test, which will show further developments in Albanian politics, as far as parliamentary compromise and cooperation is concerned.
"He [Berisha] wants to invalidate the measure of arrest, because Berisha has nothing to add as from the window as he was in the parliament;. Amnesty is a provision that requires a majority vote. Even the reformed alliances in the Assembly will expose the alliances, it is a law that tests the new development in the parliament, which produces the votes of 84 people. 84 is like a test for further political developments in Albania", said Meçe.
