SPAK has opposed the request of lawyer Plarent Ndreca, who requested that Mayor Erion Veliaj not be kept in a glass cage during court hearings.
During the hearing, prosecutor Ols Dado argued that staying in this structure does not pose a problem, emphasizing that it is a glass cabin that allows communication through a special space.
"Regarding the lawyers' request that Erion Veliaj not be kept in a cage, we do not believe that it constitutes a problem. It is not a cage, but a glass structure and there is also a slit there that allows communication. The conditions of the GJKKO are very good, like in a 5-star hotel," he said.
The prosecutor's statement was deemed inappropriate by the court, which immediately drew his attention during the hearing.
