Bad weather with snowfall, landslides and low temperatures has 'trapped' the Korça region.
The Prefecture of Korça District has informed that, according to reports from the responsible structures, there are no closed schools and the teaching process continues normally in all educational institutions in the district.
Regarding the situation of rural roads, it is reported by the Civil Emergencies of the Maliq Municipality that in the Moglica administrative unit, as a result of landslides, the road segment connecting the villages of Kodras, Peshtan and Protopapë has been blocked.
It is also announced that the responsible municipal structures are on the ground and are taking the necessary measures to resolve the problem and open the road.
The Korça District Prefecture reports that it is closely following the situation and remains in constant coordination with local institutions to guarantee security and normality in the territory.
