Journalist Lavdrim Lita has spoken about the work done by SPAK to attack criminal groups and high officials involved in corruption.
Lita also focused on election crimes, which are also the focus of SPAK. The journalist said that in 2023, votes were bought in the ranks of drug users in Durrës, by distributing cocaine. According to him, 800 users were given a total of 25 kilograms of cocaine to vote for the Socialist Party.
" Criminal leaders have not been living in Albania for a long time and there is no way to catch them in the coming months. A large part of them are not here. The crime bosses, I'm saying, those who make big decisions about posting thousands of votes. As happened in 2023 in Durrës, where votes were bought with cocaine. They targeted 800 users in Durrës and bought votes by giving them 1 to 4 doses.
It is about 25 kilograms of cocaine that were spent only on drug users in Durrës to buy votes. I think that the heads of crime are also distancing themselves from politics, since the guarantees to protect themselves from politics are no longer there ," said Lita.
