A mild earthquake struck Albania a few minutes ago, felt in and around the Tirana area.
According to the European and Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC), the tremors were recorded at around 17:26 with a magnitude of 3.0 on the Richter scale.
The epicenter was 19 km south of the capital, at a distance of about 16 km from Tirana, while the depth of the earthquake was 10.7 km. So far, no material damage or casualties have been reported.
