Journalist Ardit Rada says that SPAK conducted investigations in relation to the "Partizani" file where former Prime Minister Sali Berisha is accused, according to the order of the US and the "follow the money" formula.
In an interview for "Ora e Fundi" on ABC News, Rada said that this file shows that the place was stolen by Berisha in an ordinary way.
While the lawyer Arbër Hoxha stated that after two weeks it may be the first session for Berisha.
Ardit Rada: SPAK's investigative file does not show the Americans' accusation for what the Americans have declared Berisha "non grata". The US accuses him of something bigger. I do not believe that Washington is concerned about the former "Partizani" complex. We have the son-in-law of the former prime minister who owns apartments in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Munich. Except we see how thickly this place has been stolen, we are not impressed, it is things we have thought about. It seems that SPAK has followed the order of the Americans, follow the money. Sali Berisha changed the law on sports properties twice within one year. In both cases he used his ministers.
Arbër Hoxha: The decisions of the Council of Ministers are collegial. Collegial decision-making does not mean exemption from criminal liability. Until we get to know the whole charge, a part of those that are rumored, without having an official notification from SPAK, having an extract, we can be reserved. I believe that Mr. Berisha will fight his battle before the court. We can say that it may be a long ordeal for Mr. Berisha in relation to his personal fate. If we are dealing with illegal income and it has been declared, we are dealing with a criminal offence. SPAK is the prosecution body. SPAK is charged with protecting the interests of citizens, it is expected to pass the filter of the court in the preliminary hearing. The first session can be in two weeks.
