The former PD deputy, Myslim Murrizi, was the next guest on Pamphlet's "Te Pashoq" Podcast, where he spoke about the political situation in the country and the house arrest of former Prime Minister Berisha.
In the show directed by Edjona Dervishi, Murrizi declared that justice violated Berisha's freedom, when he imposed the mandatory appearance measure and blocked his passport. According to him, Berisha's arrest was an injustice.
Excerpt from the interview:
- We will start with your leader or former leader Sali Berisha
Murrizi : Personally, I say that I know my creator as well.
- I mean politics.
Murrizi : Even politically, he is the president elected by one member, one vote, with 35,000 votes. Members of Reestablishment, which received 500,000 votes on May 14. As long as the majority of the membership, where I belong, he is also my main art.
-Two days ago, you gave a speech at the street of freedom, since there are small gatherings there every day and every evening for Mr. Berisha. why did you go Support his battle with justice, his battle in DP, or what?
Murrizi : I don't see the battle with justice, I see an injustice with those institutions that should give justice and this is very serious, this is where democracy ends. If Berisha had a problem with the government, no, I would be there, because problems with the government are resolved in court. When I see a man who does not spoil the evidence, he has no chance to escape, he does not intimidate the accusers, the minister of the interior. Taking such a coercive measure violated the right of MP Berisha and the leader of this political force.
- Yes, he was free, he simply did not respect the court's decision.
Hawthorn : Justice cannot impose restrictions on freedom without removing the immunity of the assembly. Because even the obligation to present and the blocking of the passport is a restriction of freedom, for a person with a mandate.
