Another national road is showing serious problems, this time warned, if we refer to the history of the Skrapar-Përmet road axis. From the published videos and photos, asphalt cracks and rock falls are clearly visible on the road that was inaugurated in 2019, but which showed the first problems in 2021, two years after the works were completed.
The road axis, the first lot, was built by Salillari, the company owned by Pëllumb Salillari, one of Prime Minister Edi Rama's favorites.

Meanwhile, near the village of Buzuq, at the entrance to Skrapar, there was a landslide of a rock massif on the road, blocking traffic.
The problem first appeared in 2021, two years after the Salillari company considered the project completed. At that time, as a result of damage to the road base, there were also large landslides on the road, which resulted in the road being blocked.
The road began construction in April 2017. A segment with a length of about 5 kilometers and an investment value of 1.2 billion lek or about 10 million euros, was to be completed in June 2019.

At that time, the axis that also constituted the first lot was trumpeted as having high standards and that it would serve the residents by connecting these two areas with potential for tourism development.
In 2019, the Supreme State Audit Office, with an audit conducted on the technical file of the contract implementation, found that the high road embankments had not been implemented in the cellular system and were without protective measures, as foreseen in the initial project.

"Although revisions and improvements to the project have been made and the reserve fund has been used and additional contracts have been implemented in value, the main goal of the project to implement Lot 1 of the Skrapar-Përmet Segment, with all the characteristics required in the initial project, has not been fully met, with the asphalt layer, signage and other anticipated works missing," the ALSHI report stated.

It seems that from the moment these findings were made and then the first problems with the road appeared, the company has simply made minor repairs, which in recent days seem to have created an even bigger problem, the cracking of the road and in one segment even its collapse.

It is not known whether the kiss on the forehead that the Prime Minister gave to Pëllumb Salillari will help him or not in the recent collapse that one of the roads he built suffered. /Pamphlet/
