After Endri Shabani, Adriatik Lapaj has also confirmed that Dashnor Sula will not be on the lists of the "Albania Initiative" coalition for the May 11 elections. He also revealed the reasons, while emphasizing that the lists have not yet been officially closed.
"I have not spoken out these last 3 days because the process has not yet ended. To my knowledge, it ends tomorrow and these are not final lists. To clarify for the citizens, I want to say that we are a movement that has entered this coalition with two other entities. Each entity of the coalition has the right to make its own proposals. I would like to inform you that I personally have respect for Dash Sula because he voted against the constitutional amendments of 2008, he voted in favor of the justice reform, against the closure of the lists, and he has merit and no one can deny it.
"The idea of interacting and talking with Mr. Sula has been welcomed, but due to the fact that we are a movement that makes decisions by asking the membership and talking, we will go to the elections without Mr. Sula. We are not on this path to disappoint anyone. We see this as a way to bring a new model," Lapaj told "A2CNN."
